Sarawak developer, Ibraco Bhd, is expanding into the Klang Valley with NewUrban @ PJ South, a RM529-million residential project built with green-certified features.
The development, launched in 2024, comprises 922 serviced apartments in two 36-storey towers on a 6.02-acre site.
Unit sizes range from 550 sq ft to 1,000 sq ft, aimed at young families, professionals and first-time buyers.
Group Managing Director, Datuk Chew Chiaw Han, said the project reflects Ibraco’s long-term strategy.
“NewUrban is a milestone for Ibraco. It is not just about building homes, but also about building bridges that connect Malaysians through the shared aspiration of homeownership,” he said.
Located beside the NPE Highway and just before the toll plaza, the project offers links to Bandar Sunway, Subang and Puchong.
It is also close to 10 educational institutions, seven shopping malls and five hospitals.
Sustainability measures include North-South oriented units, landscaped podium gardens, stormwater and waste management systems, and energy-saving LEDs.
Lifts come with power-saving functions, while common areas are designed for natural light and ventilation.
Facilities also support low-carbon mobility, such as electric vehicle charging points, bicycle parking and priority bays.
The project is guided by an ISO 14001-certified architect, a sustainability consultant and a GreenRE Manager.
Chew added that Ibraco is also developing a public park next to the site, with a futsal court, jogging track, fitness stations and a reflexology park.
“At Ibraco, we believe affordability should not come at the expense of sustainability. With NewUrban, we are setting a benchmark by combining liveability, green design and community well-being.”
