Plant Operator

Job Responsibilities:

Plant Operation

  • Operate and monitor the asphalt premix plant control systems (manual, semi-automatic, or PLC-based) to ensure continuous and efficient production.
  • Adjust mix proportions, temperature settings, and feed rates according to production requirements and approved mix designs.
  • Coordinate with the laboratory technician to verify the consistency, temperature and quality of the asphalt mix.

Plant Maintenance

  • Perform daily inspection and preventive maintenance of plant components such as mixers, dryers, conveyors, bitumen tanks, and burners.
  • Report any abnormalities, breakdowns or potential hazards to the Operation Manager immediately.
  • Conduct minor repairs and assist maintenance personnel during major servicing or equipment overhaul

Production Management

  • Ensure sufficient supply of raw materials (aggregates, bitumen, filler) for uninterrupted production).
  • Record production data accurately including mix type, batch quantity, fuel consumption, and downtime causes.
  • Support loading and dispatch operations, ensuring timely delivery of asphalt premix to job sites.

Safety and Compliance

  • Adhere to all company safety policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with LOTO (Lock-Out-Tag-Out) procedures.
  • Ensure plant operations comply with environmental and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of the entire plant area.

Coordination and Reporting

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, laboratory staff, and truck drivers to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Submit daily production and maintenance reports to the Operation Manager.
  • Participate in toolbox meetings, safety briefings and any required training sessions.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum SPM/SKM or equivalent.
  • Technical / Vocational Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering is an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 year of experience is asphalt premix plant operations (batch type).
  • Hands-on experience with plant control systems and material handling equipment.
  • Exposure to maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical components preferred.
  • Strong understanding of asphalt production processes and JKR/SP/ETC quality specifications.
  • Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
  • Ability to operate loaders, conveyors and control systems.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
  • Physically fir and able to work in hot, dusty and outdoor environments.
  • Willing to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays if required.
  • Willing to be assigned to other plant locations or project sites based on operational needs.

Assistant Plant Operator

Job Responsibilities:

  • To assist plant operator in ensuring smooth running operation, responsible for the cleanliness and safety of premix plant.
  • To assist plant operator in supervising and controlling the utilization of company asset by producing and update movement record of all tools and equipment in accordance to outline regulation guideline.
  • To assist carry out routine checks, trouble shooting on all breakdown issues.
  • To ensure that all machines operate at the highest efficiency and effective level.
  • To do basic wiring, welding, maintenance and repair of equipment and tools.
  • To do multi-tasking work at premix plant.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum SPM or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years working experience as assistant plant operator in premix plant.
  • Good attitude, responsible, discipline and hardworking.
  • Multitasking and good time management

Service Floor Staff

Job Responsibilities:

  • Able to work on public holiday, split shift and overtime.
  • Provide courteous and efficient food & beverage services to the customers (greet, records orders, and serve)
  • Attend to customers' need promptly & professionally.
  • Handling complaints with positive attitude and escalate to superior.
  • Performing table setting, general housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Assist to oversee the club's food hygienic SOP, rules & regulations.
  • Have basic knowledge of food & beverage, customer service skill, safety guideline, teamwork.
  • Handling Point-Of-Sales (POS) systems as necessary.
  • To undertake any other tasks as assigned by superior from time to time.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum SPM.
  • Minimum 1 year working experience.
  • Able to speak in English / Bahasa Malaysia / Mandarin.
  • Good communication skill and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Have a pleasant and outgoing personality.
  • Responsible, honest and possess good problem-solving skills.

Site Engineer (M&E)

Job Responsibilities:

  • To monitor and supervise QA/QC on all M&E site activities.
  • To assist superior for any tasks that are being assigned.
  • To plan, execute and delivery the job tasks being assigned.
  • To ensure coordination of mechanical and electrical works with C&S, architectural and landscape works during construction stage.
  • Coordinate and liaise with consultants, contractors, and sub-contractors on the progress of work.
  • Monitor and supervise contractors and sub-contractors’ work progress according to specifications and safety regulations.
  • Supervise trouble shooting, testing and commissioning and repair works.
  • Conduct regular site meeting on M&E matters.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Possess at least a Degree in M&E engineering or equivalent.
  • At least five (5) years relevant working experience, especially in infrastructure or road works.
  • Able to read construction drawings and specifications.
  • Good understanding of construction work activities and sequence of work.
  • Good communication and analytical skills, positive working attitude, self-starter and able to work independently.
  • Good technical knowledge, report preparation, project management and negotiation skills.

Environment Officer

Job Responsibilities:

  • To be able to lead a team of of site-based Environmental Engineers to monitor and ensure the DOE's requirements are complied with.
  • To conduct Surveillance Audits.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures and training in promoting a culture of safety and quality excellence.

Desired Qualifications:

  • At least ten (10) years relevant working experience particularly dealing with with necessary environmental issues and the Department of Environment (DOE)'s requirements and adherence to them.
  • Ability to deal with necessary safety issues and health requirements arised.
  • Familiar with the stipulations of the Environmental Act.

Site Engineer (C&S - Kuching)

Job Responsibilities:

  • To take part in planning and monitoring of all projects under the directive of Project Manager to ensure smooth implementation of projects and handling over the projects according to company policies and procedures, so that quality and timely completion of the projects can be achieved.
  • To take charge of Quality Assurance / Quality Control House Handover and supervision at site.
  • To liaise with Project Consultants, Contractors and any other relevant personnel on all technical and / or site matters.
  • To record and prepare minutes of meeting for site and any other technical meetings.
  • To prepare all necessary reports as required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Building or equivalent.
  • At least five (5) years relevant working experience, especially in infrastructure or road works.
  • Able to read construction drawings and specifications.
